Liverpool children learn to stay safe

We have been out and about teaching local Liverpool children about building site safety, and recently welcomed St John’s Primary School to officially launch our new St John’s Place housing development in Kirkdale.

During their visit, the children were given a tour of the development, learnt how to stay safe around construction areas, as well as viewing a show home and learning about the building process.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for encouraging the local children to get involved with what’s going on within their community. We hope that this marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with St John’s Primary School and we look forward to seeing them back here soon.

The local children, who chose the name St John’s Place, were also invited to unveil the signage for the development which they had designed themselves.

Denise Maudsley, Headteacher at St John’s Primary School, commented: “All the children really enjoyed the site visit, particularly seeing their designs in situ and learning how a house is built.”
